2016 MLB Season:Chicago Cubs vs.
Milwaukee BrewersSeptember 06, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Chicago Cubs will face the Milwaukee Brewers in the second game of the three-game series at Miller Park in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The first pitch is set at 8:10AM ET.

In the first game of the series, Milwaukee was not able to hold up its lead as Chicago staged a comeback by scoring 7 runs from the 6th to 8th innings of the game. The Cubs' bench corps once again prove that this team is built for this year's postseason run. It was bench players Chris Coghlan and Miguel Montero's turn to lead the way for the late rally to secure a 7-2 win against Milwaukee.

Milwaukee's four-game winning streak was halted by Monday's loss to Chicago. They would like to get back on track in the second game. Right-hander Wily Peralta will step on the mound for the Brewers. He has a 3.00 ERA in his last five games after being recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs.

The Chicago Cubs will take another step towards a postseason berth with Jason Hammel on the mound. He has 10-1 record with 2.50 ERA against the Brewers in 14 career starts. He scattered 3 hits with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts in his last game against the Pittsburgh Pirates to snap his two-game losing streak.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Chicago Cubs as the favorites to beat the Milwaukee Brewers for the second straight game at Miller Park on Tuesday night.
