2016 MLB Season:Minnesota Twins vs.
Kansas City RoyalsSeptember 27, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Kansas City Royals will host a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. First pitch is set at 7:15AM ET.

The season for both Kansas City and Minnesota has not gone according to their plans. The defending World Series champion Royals are 1 loss away to be eliminated in contention from the AL wild card. The Royals are fresh from a 12-9 win last Sunday against the Detriot Tigers. They have a one day rest and hopefully finish their last six games of the season on a winning note.

The young core players of the Minnesota Twins was a revelation in 2015. They have a good win-loss record and finished second in the AL Central. Instead of taking a step forward from last season's performance, the Twins imploded drastically as it logged its 100-loss season last Sunday against the Seattle Mariners.

Both teams would want to salvage their season on a positive vibe. Royals right-hander Ian Kennedy start in the series opener against Twins rookie Jose Berrios. The baseball handicappers have installed the Kansas City Royals as the favorite to beat Minnesota Twins in the opening game of the scheduled three-games series.
