Houston AstrosJuly 05, 2015 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the Houston Astros will play the Seattle Mariners in the 2nd match of their three-day series at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas. Game time is set at 8:10PM ET.

The Houston Astros scored a 2-1 win on Monday night in the 1st game of the series against the Seattle Mariners. Sophomore pitcher Lance McCullers shutdown the Seattle lineup with 10 struck out in seven strong innings.

Dallas Keuchel will pitch for Houston in the 2nd match of the series. He is 4-5 with a 3.09 ERA in 11 career starts against Seattle. He has an inconsistent season this year especially his last two starts against the Mariners. As the season progressed, Dallas Keuchel is 2-0 with a 3.65 ERA in his last two starts and all indication is he is ready to face the Mariners for the third time this season.

The Seattle Mariners will counter with Taijuan Walker on the mound. A lingering illness might cloud Walker's start on Tuesday. He is battling right posterior tibial tendinitis for weeks and was skipped in the rotation. He will make his 11th career start against Houston and he's 5-2 with a 3.98 ERA against them.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Houston Astros as the favorites to win against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night.
