2016 NBA Playoffs:Portland Trail Blazers vs. Golden State WarriorsMay 03, 2016 by Marc Jerbs

On Tuesday, the defending NBA champions Golden State Warriors will host Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Portland Trail Blazers. Tip-off is set at 10:30PM EST and will be played at ORACLE Arena.

The Portland Trail Blazers was a victim of shock and awe in Game 1's 118-106 loss. Portland was not able to match Golden State's energy and offensive onslaught at the beginning of the 1st quarter. Hesitation was all over Portland's players and seem at loss on the barrage of shots that Warriors unleashed.

Golden State have proved once again that defense wins championships even without MVP Stephen Curry. They started Game 1 by shackling Blazers' duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Without the Blazers' scoring duo, they were doomed with Golden State's well-oiled team chemistry. Golden State has a chance to take a 2-0 series lead before they embark on the road for Game 3 and 4 in Portland.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Golden State Warriors as a 10-point favorite to beat the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.
