2017 Boodles May Festival:Ormonde Stakes

On Friday, the Chester Racecourse in Chester, England will host the Ormonde Stakes as part of the Boodles May Festival. The Ormonde Stakes is a Group 3 is a weight for age race open for horses aged four years and older.

It will cover a total race distance of 1 mile, 5 furlongs and 89 yards of the turf-surfaces racecourse. The field of 12 race will be headed Aidan O'Brien's trained US Army Ranger, who won the Chester Vase.

US Army Ranger will compete against highly-touted thoroughbred race horses such as Midterm, Western Hymn, Duretto, Red Verdon and Winning Story.

The horse race handicappers have installed US Army Ranger as the favorite to win Friday's Ormonde Stakes at the Chester Racecourse.
