October 05, 2017 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Suzuka International Racing Course in Suzuka City, Japan will the 30th edition of the Japanese Grand Prix. The 56-lap race will cover a total race distance of 307.471km. Each lap will have 5.807 km circuit length.

It was a disastrous race for the Ferrari team in the Malaysian Grand Prix. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was not able to gain ground in the drivers' standing to trim the lead of Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton.

It was Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen that steal the thunder between the Mercedes and Ferrari as he delivered a convincing race win in the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Ferrari will have another chance this weekend to make some headway on Mercedes. However, Red Bull racing may possibly spoil again the race between the two competitors.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel as co-favorites to win the Japanese Grand Prix this Sunday.
