On Tuesday, the San Francisco Giants will host the Kansas City Royals in an inter-league game at AT&T Park in San Francisco, CA. Game time is set at 10:15PM ET.

Three years ago, these two clubs met in the 2014 World Series which San Francisco won in Game 7. Both teams would want to content again for the playoffs as well as the World Series. Kansas City who has a 28-34 record in the East is slowly showing some life as they have won two in a row and four of its last six games.

Lefy-hander Jason Vargas will pitch for the Royals while the Giants will counter with also a left-hander, sophomore Ty Blach. Ty Blach has replaced the injured pitcher Madison Bumgarner in the roster. He has a 1.87 ERA and has allowed 7 runs in 33 innings pitched.
