2017 National Hunt Racing:Tolworth Hurdle

On Saturday, the Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, England will host the Tolworth Hurdle. The Tolworth Hurdle is a Grade 1 National Hunt race open for horses four years and older. The race will cover a total race distance of 3319 meters and there will be eight hurdles to be jumped by each horses.

The 11-field hurdle race will be bannered by Kennel Gate Novices' Hurdle winner Capitaine. Capitaine who is trained by Paul Nicholls is the only entrant with graded-race experience among competitors. Not to be out staged will be the racing debuts of Global Stage and Celestial Path.

Other horses to keep an eye on are Charlemar, Kayf Grace, Gaitway, Ballyhill, Mohaayed and Man From Mars.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Capitaine as the horse to beat on Saturday's Tolworth Hurdle.
