2017 Rolex Series: DP World Tour Championship
November 16, 2017 by Marc Jerbs

From Thursday until Sunday, the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will host the final European Tour tournament of the season, the DP World Tour Championship.

This final tournament will have a big storyline as it ends over the weekend. This will also determine on who will be crowned as the No. 1 golfer in this year's Race to Dubai. Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose will battle it out on who will hoist the Harry Vardon Trophy and be crowned as the No. 1 in the European Tour.

Tommy Fleetwood performed well throughout the season. He has 23 events with 17 cuts made and earned two wins, three top 3s, and five top 10s which earned him point to sit atop the Race to Dubai rankings. Justin Rose could catch up with him after 9 made cuts in 11 events which earned him back-to-back wins in his last two events. He also has a 2nd place finish at The Masters and a top 5 finish in the Irish Open.

Tommy Fleetwood has control over the situation. He will hoist the Harry Vardon Trophy no matter what place he finish as long as Justin Rose does not finish in the top 5 and Sergio Garcia does not win DP World Tour Championship.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Justin Rose as the favorite to win the DP World Tour Championship and be crowned as the No. 1 golfer in the European Tour.
