June 08, 2018 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada will host the Canadian Grand Prix. The 70-lap race will cover a total race distance of 305.27 km. Each lap will have 4.361 km of circuit length.

Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo got his 2nd F1 win of the season after a wire-to-wire finish at the Monaco Grand Prix.

This season, the wins for Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull are well spread out. Mercedes has now two worthy opponents that could challenge them in every race this season.

Lewis Hamilton still leads the drivers' championship with 110 points. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel is in 2nd place with 96 points followed by Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo with 72 points for 3rd place.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton as the favorite to win Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix.
