2019 PGA Tour Major: PGA Championship May 16, 2019 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the Bethpage State Park Golf Course in Farmingdale, NY will host the 2nd Major golf tournament of the 2019 PGA Tour. The Par-71 7,468 yard Bethpage Black Course will play longer due to the weather forecast condition, the course would be cold and wet throughout the tournament.

This year, the PGA Championship was moved to May from its original playing date of August and will officially be the 2nd major golf tournament until further notice.

Defending champion Brooks Koepka will get a chance to score a back-to-back major title wins.

He has won three of the last seven majors he has played in.

Fresh from his Masters victory, Tiger Woods took time off after his win to rest his mind and body.

It was too taxing for him to participate in other PGA Tour tournaments before the PGA Championship.

He visited the Bethpage Black Course a week earlier to familiarize himself and played some holes. He will aim for his 5th PGA Championship title on the course he played and previously won in 2002.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Brooks Koepka as the man in the last round of the PGA Championship on Sunday.
