2019 PGA/European Tour: WGC - FedEx St. Jude Invitational July 25, 2019 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee will host the WGC – FedEx St. Jude Invitational. With only two weeks remaining in the regular season, the race for the FedExCup heats up.

The selected 63-man tournament includes nine of the top 10 in the FedexCup and 45 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Currently leading the FedExCup standing is Brook Koepka and at No. 2 is Matt Kuchar. A measly 37 points separates the two golfers.

The winner of this tournament will get 550 FedExCup points and a three-year PGA Tour exemption.

Defending FedExCup champion Justin Rose is in 11th place and he's too far in his bid to become the first back-to-back FedExCup champion.

Thursday's tee time will feature the group of Justin Rose, Matt Kuchar and Jordan Speith. This trio will tee off at 1:48 PM ET while the group of Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka and Jason will follow soon at 1:59 PM ET.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka as co-favorites to battle the FedExCup crown on Sunday's final round of the WGC – FedEx St. Jude Invitational.
