The 7,698 yard Par 72 South Course of the Torrey Pines Golf Club will be the site of the 4-day tournament. The South Course was originally designed by William F. Bell but was redesigned in 2001 by Rees Jones as it increased its course length.
Seven-time event champion Tiger Woods is making his first 2019 PGA Tour start of the season. He is well rested after his comeback tour last season in which he eventually punctuated with a PGA Tour Championship. Based on his last four Farmers start, he’ll do enough to make the cut due to his balky back. But with his last 13 starts from last season, Tiger Woods is expected to compete and challenge until Sunday for his first 2019 tour win.
