2019 PGA Tour:
John Deere Classic July 11, 2019 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL will host the John Deere Classic. The 4-day tournament will end on July 14, Sunday. Defending champion Michael Kim will stake his John Deere Classic title against a throng of savvy veterans and hungry rookies.

Rookie and 20-year old Matthew Wolf won his first PGA Tour title in last week's 3M Open.

His win hurled him in the spotlight and will try to bring his success in the John Deere Classic.

Three other rookies who performed well at the 3M Open will join Matthew Wolff.

Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland and Justin Suh together with Matthew Wolff make up one of the highly touted rookie classes in years.

Matthew Wolff will tee up at 8:40AM ET together with Charles Howell III and Kevin Tway.

Defending champion Michael will start at 1:40PM ET and group with Zach Johnson and Brian Harman.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Viktor Hovland as the favorite to win Sunday's John Deere Classic final round.
