2020 PGA Tour: Travelers Championship June 25, 2020 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the 2020 PGA Tour moves to TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut for the Travelers Championship.

The Travelers Championship is the 3rd tournament on schedule since PGA Tour season resumed after it was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 68-year old TPC at River Highland is a Par 70 course that has a total length of 6,844 yards.

The tournament will still be played with no fans and defending champion Chez Reavie will have a strong competition as he goes for back-to-back wins.

World no. 1 Rory McIlroy will play in the tournament as well as John Rahm and Justin Thomas.

2017 champion Jordan Speith and two-time champion Phil Mickelson will also participate.

The trio of Mickelson, DeChambeau and McIlroy will start 1st round at 7:35pm EDT while Rahm, Reavie and Simpson will tee off earlier at 7:25am EDT.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Justin Thomas, Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau as co-favorites to win the Travelers Championship.

But on the final round, only one of this three golfers will be declared as champion.
