On Thursday, the Old Course of the St. Andrews Link in Fife, Scotland will host the 150th edition of the Open Championship.

The Open is the last golf major of the 2021-22 PGA Tour/DP World Tour season.

A total of 156 golfers will play in this year's Open.

Most of them have arrived early at St. Andrews Link to familiarize themselves with the Old Course.

All of them knew that each hole they will meet bunkers, vast greens and windy conditions at St. Andrews Link.

Xander Schauffele is the hottest player in the tour this season.

He won the Travelers Championship, the Scottish Open and the JP McManus Pro-Am.

He's on a roll and lock-in to win his first major.

2014 Open champion Rory McIlroy is also playing well as he finished in the top 10 in each of the three majors this season.

Tiger Woods will also play wherein he won his two Claret Jug at St. Andrews.

Among the group to watch in the first two rounds are the trio of defending champion Collin Morikawa, Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele.

Their opening round starts at 4:58AM EDT.

Tiger Woods will join US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick and Max Homa in another group.

They will start their opening round at 9:59AM EDT.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Rory McIlroy as the man to beat in the last round of the Open Championship on Sunday.
