On Friday, Wimbledon defending champion Novak Djokovic will face 8th seed Jannik Sinner in the gentlemen's singles semi-final.

This afternoon match will be held at the Centre Court of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, England.

Novak Djokovic is on a mission as he chases his 24th Grand Slam title and record-equaling 8th Wimbledon title.

Standing his way for a spot in the championship match is up and comer Jannik Sinner.

Djokovic own a 2-0 head-to-head record against him.

They last met in last year's Wimbledon quarter-final round, Jannik Sinner won the first two sets but Novak Djokovic stage a dramatic comeback to win the match and eventually capped it with this 7th Wimbledon title.

Jannik Sinner has greatly improved after his last meeting with Novak Djokovic.

He has corrected his weaknesses and lessened his mistakes in every match in the last 12 months.

During this stretch, he has risen to No. 8 this year and put himself in a better position to surprise Novak Djokovic.
