On Wednesday, Leeds United will host Chelsea in the quarterfinal round of the Capital One Cup at Elland Road. Game time is set at 19:45PM local time.

These two rival clubs have met numerous times and most of the games were physical and confrontational. Both clubs have played a total of 101 fixtures with Leeds United having the best record of 39 wins, 33 losses and 29 draws.

These two clubs last met in 2004, Chelsea won 1-0 after a superb goal by Jesper Gronkjaer. It took eight years for these two clubs to meet again since Leeds United was relegated from the Premier League in 2004. The fierce rivalry resumes for a chance to book a place in semifinals of the Capital One Cup.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Chelsea as the favorite to beat Leeds United and advance in the next stage of the Capital One Cup.
