Super Bowl LIII: New England Patriots vs. Los Angeles Rams January 31, 2019 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the stage is all set for Super Bowl LII at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The New England Patriots will face the Los Angeles Rams at 6:30PM ET for the Vince Lombardi trophy. Only one team will be crowned as the best NFL team and the stakes are quite high for the Patriots and Rams.

The New England Patriots are heading to their 9th Super Bowl under the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady era. New England is making their 3rd consecutive Super Bowl appearance since 2016 and will be gunning for their 6th Super Bowl title.

Holding the fort for New England is veteran and multi-titled Tom Brady. He has amassed 29 playoff wins, 73 TDs and 10,917 passing yards since 2000.

He will go up against LA's Jared Goff, who's the first No. 1 overall pick to reach the Super Bowl in his third season. In his three year career, he notched 26 wins, 67 TDS and 10, 323 passing yards.

Both team has impressive defensive credential throughout the season. But they moved it up a notch during the playoffs leading to their respective Conference Championship.

A win by New England will make Bill Belichick as the oldest head coach to win the Super Bowl while a win by Los Angeles will make Sean McVay as the youngest coach to do so.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the New England Patriots as a 2.5-point favorite to win against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday's Super Bowl LIII.
