Tennis Grand Slam Tournament: 2020 French Open September 24, 2020 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the fabled Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, France will host the 3rd tennis Grand Slam tournament of the season, the French Open.

The French Open usually takes place late in May up to June but was rescheduled due to the virus pandemic.

Limited fans will be allowed only at the Court Philippe Chatrier and other courts in Roland Garros will be off-limits.

There are noticeable absences in this year's French Open due to health and safety reasons.

2009 French Open champion Roger Federer will not participate as well as reigning French Open women's single champion Ashleigh Barty together with US Open champion Naomi Osaka.

Men's singles French Open champion Rafael Nadal will participate to defend his title.

He has won 12 French Open titles and has an impeccable 93-2 record in the tournament.

Rival Novak Djokovic will also play and is set to atone his shock disqualification at the recently concluded US Open.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Rafael Nadal and Simona Halep as the favorites to win in their respective French Open competitions.
