Thursday Night Pro Football: Los Angeles Rams vs. Minnesota Vikings September 27, 2018 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the undefeated (3-0) Los Angeles Rams will host a primetime match up against the Minnesota Vikings at the L.A. Memorial Stadium.

This is the 4th time in five seasons that the Rams and Vikings will meet. Minnesota has won the last two match-ups under the tutelage of head coach Mike Zimmer.

The Minnesota Viking hope to bounce back from a 27-6 shock loss against the Buffalo Bills. The Vikings' vaunted defense that catapulted them the last year's NFC Championship was non-existent. They surrendered a whopping 246 yard in the first half as the Bills piled up yards throughout the game.

The Vikings defensive team must now put together an improved and complete defensive performance against the Rams.

Rams' QB Jared Goff has been tearing up the stat sheets in their first three games of the season. He threw back-to-back 350 yards or more with a completion rate in back-to-back weeks.

The Los Angeles Rams is among the league's best in offensive rankings. They are in the top five in points per game (34), total yards per game (439.3) and passing yards per game (305.7). This match will pit offense against defense from the start of the kick-off.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed the Los Angeles Rams as a 7.5-point favorite to beat the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.
