UFC 248:
Israel Adesanya vs. Yoel Romero March 05, 2020 by Marc Jerbs

On Saturday, the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada will host the UFC 248.

Headlining the mixed martial arts event is the UFC Middleweight Championship between Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero.

Defending champion Israel Adesanya has only been in the UFC for two years.

He was an excellent kickboxer and ascended in the middleweight ladder in record time. In his early fights, he purely relied on his athleticism to get out of tough situations.

In his second year, he's more a complete fighter in the octagon and proudly owns the UFC middleweight champion belt.

Yoel Romero is quite an interesting fighter. He always starts slow in his fights to study and measure up his opponents.

His opponents will be ahead of the scorecards but during the final round, it will be lights out for them.

Among Romero's victims are Lyoto Machida, Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold.

Israel Adesanya is also a slow starter just like Yoel Romero.

He has the advantage over Romero because he is a better in assessing the weakness of his opponent and has a lot of firepower in his punches and kicks.

Yoel Romero chance to beat Adesanya is to pressure him from the opening bell.

It is risky but that could throw off the Adesanya's game plan.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Israel Adesanya as the favorite to beat Yoel Romero on Saturday night's UFC 248.
