Nine months ago, both met in short notice at UFC 251 with Jorge Masvidal stepping in for the injured Gilbert Burns.

He believes that he could have beaten Kamaru Usman that night if he was given enough time to prepare.

Kamaru Usman is making a quick return in the octagon after he earned his third successful title defense against Gilbert Burns earlier this year.

He's eager to prove to Jorge Masvidal that his win in UFC 251 was no fluke and preparation time does not matter as well.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Kamaru Usman as the favorite to win over Jorge Masvidal in UFC 261 on Saturday night.
